Purpose and goal
Gestrument allows for users to interact directly with the "DNA of Music". Gestrument has been an iOS instrument and with the help of Vinnova we have started to transform it into a platform independent music engine. Our goals with this part of the project is to apply our interactive music engine in the video game industry together with customers and to file our first patent applications.
Expected results and effects
We want to become the go-to technology for anyone who wants to create or participate in interactive musical experiences, regardless of physical capacity and no matter if you are a video game developer, artist, amateur musician, teacher or content creative. The first steps towards this vision will be taken in the video game industry where we will use our technology to make the music more interactive.
Planned approach and implementation
We will focus on three main targets: - porting of the technology to a completely platform independent form - patent applications and IP strategy - artistic validation of different control methods together with ShareMusic
