Venture The strategic innovation programme for the Internet of Things

Purpose and goal

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The purpose of the project is to tackle the societal challenge of people moving less and less, which leads to various forms of well-being diseases and increased costs for society. The project´s focus area is public health through increased physical activity among young people and the goal is to lead young people to sports and outdoor life at our public facilities by using new methods to get them in motion and physical activity. Aim and objective have been fulfilled through new processes, prototypes and services.

Expected results and effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Project results are developed game concept and related knowledge base, research article on mobile games in cold climates, app for user experience Östersund ski stadium, digitized education system for children in alpine skiing and enhanced measurement work with GNSS and power transmission for Ski Team Sweden. Expected effects are increased knowledge among participating organizations about how digital solutions can get people moving and increased ability to use IoT to contribute to societal challenges.

Planned approach and implementation

* Denna text är maskinöversatt * The project has been divided into WPs where the actors have been differently involved, but where exchanges of experience have been enabled through meetings and communication. The approach has been driven by knowledge and target group analyzes as well as collaboration between business, municipalities, the sports movement and academia. All solutions have been tested against target groups to ensure relevance. The implementation has also been adapted along the course of the project for resource optimization, GDPR-related reasons and changes in needs.
