Purpose and goal

The goal of Gard to Table was to link food-producing agriculture to consumers in places in an efficient and lonely setting for gard and consumers. The purpose of this investment was to try the concept on a small scale in Stockholm and the Sörmland region, which is now done when over 15 farms are linked to the project and over 30 end customers have tested the concept. Interest is large between farms as well as consumers.

Expected results and effects

The result was beyond all expectations. We expected to see some interest but not such a big interest. The distribution chain works well but we want to investigate this further and refine this in phase 2 for both the environment and profitability. With the help of marketing, blogs and newsletters, we have spread knowledge about nutritional food and its benefits, both from an environmental point of view and from a consumer perspective. All efforts have been followed up and the results are clearly measurable, as can be seen in the annex.

Planned approach and implementation

The project in investment phase 1 was divided into three major projects. 1.) Homepage / App Here was the goal of completing website / app as well as graphic identity as we have done. 2.) Distribution The goal was to look over and try out distribution channels as well as acquire a car in order to be able to do the job as we have done. 3.)Connect the farm to us The goal was to meet as many farms as possible and tie them to Gard to Table, which we have done.
