Important results from the project
The project aimed to evaluate and understand the aspects needed for BuildSafe to grow in the UK market. The goal was to conclude that aspects that were needed for a successful UK expansion. The project was successful. BuildSafe has met with several companies and initiated pilot projects in the market. In that way, we have been able to determine the aspects necessary for expansion, get these in place and initiate the expansion.
Expected long term effects
One year after the project we expect to have 1) iterated a clear strategy for growth and expansion in the UK market, 2) established strong relations with the companies involved in the pilot projects, 3) secured more funds for market establishment and 4) established a local sales organisation. 1-3 are have been completed. Based on the results from this project number 4 has been initiated.
Approach and implementation
In order to evaluate above-mentioned aspects the plan was to involve key players in the U.K. market and gather the most influential players in a pilot group. The companies would be offered to implement BuildSafe in a selection of their projects and will in return contribute with feedback on the product, business model and pricing. The plan was executed successfully. BuildSafe is administering the pilot group with the goal of building a strong initial customer base.
