Purpose and goal
The project goal was to conduct a market analysis, develop a scalable business model for the new service and validate the skills required to realize the business model developed. The purpose was to be able to contribute to disruptive change and altering the conditions for the future labor market by providing new knowledge and technical renewal. The project´s purpose remains the same and its goals have been achieved. However, the next estimated step in the process has been replaced by another, as new information emerged during the project.
Expected results and effects
The project resulted in a developed business model. However, new information has been encountered during the project, which means that validation of a new physical education will occur before the construction of the digital platform. In five years we are still expected, with the service, to be a global partner in the corporate promotion network. Our network with both end customers and other partners will give benefits compared with potential other players. The customer and market for our first launch are identified and after the described validation, a rollout plan will be established.
Planned approach and implementation
1. The market analysis outcome was positive though more time consuming than planned. The analysis gave us insights whose importance was not previously known. 2. Due to new skills, the work of identifying, describing and analyzing the current business model portfolio gave us a new way of objectively looking at its offerings and an increased strategic height. 3. Customer segmentation was different than expected, which affected the value offer and the new business model. The mapping of skills created a realistic overview of realization based on which the plan was modified.
