Purpose and goal
The purpose of the project was to investigate the market conditions by developing new innovative and sustainable products for DUDE´s range and optimizing sales in the German market. The goal is to sell 30,000 units on the German market until 2020 and start a collaboration with 5 major online companies by developing our product range after the German market.
Expected results and effects
The new products were shown to be of great interest in Sweden and Åhlens and ahlens.se is now a new customer (release in November) (and one more new big online store is ready soon.
Planned approach and implementation
The project started by making a market check using the German-Swedish Chamber of Commerce. After the market check, an agent was hired on the German market. During the project, I assessed, along with my Advisory Board, to grow organically. I chose to not make such an offensive launch with agents and consultants as planned. I´d rather grow organic with the help of the Swedish market as a base and my new customers, like ex Åhlens.
