Purpose and goal
Completing primary & secondary school is among the most important factors for the future of youth. Increasing access to data & digitalized processes involving youngsters can improve their rising conditions hence increasing their chance to finish their studies. The aim is to digitalize core processes concerning youngsters to realize transfer & utilization of data between different actors for better supporting youth at both individual & social levels, facilitating GovTech. The objective is to provide a basis for this through intelligence & needs analysis along with a status report.
Expected results and effects
The intelligence & needs analysis has provided a picture of the different actors involved in the project´s two key processes: notification of concern between school & social services; absence report between school & CSN. It has also provided different perspectives & needs to clarify how digitalization can support children/youngsters and the institutions. The status report gives a development benchmark by describing operational architecture of the two key-processes on procedure, information & application levels together with opportunities ahead.
Planned approach and implementation
The project management team, led by Bron Innovation, consisted of representatives from the Swedish Board of Student Finance (CSN), Västernorrland’s Association of Local Authorities & the municipality of Kramfors via Ådalsskolan. Through frequent meetings, the project management team has led the work and been involved in the preparation of intelligence & needs analysis based on which it was decided to produce a status report to provide a detailed picture of the current situation and to facilitate the steps forward. The project ended with a workshop to assess the future alternatives.
