Important results from the project

The Aim and objective with the project were to further develop the prototypes that the Stage 1 project resulted in. We wanted to achieve better user experience, extend the area for use in elderly care and development of a language training tool for medical terminology for staff in healthcare and elderly care. The targets have been met according to plan.

Expected long term effects

We have seen that the development we have made in the project have already generated a significant increase in the use of Care to Translate and a large organic increase in the number of users outside Sweden. In addition, the project has resulted in two new potential products where we already have several likely customers.

Approach and implementation

Interviews, surveys and workshops have been conducted with healthcare and elderly care professionals, language representatives and language trainers to get an idea of needs and desires. UX / UI has been developed according to desires, tested with potential end-users and implemented in product and prototype. Products have been further developed and prototype has been developed and tested. It turned out to be resource and time efficient to involve end-users and stakeholders in the process from the beginning. In addition, the result reflects the need that has been expressed.
