Important results from the project

Purpose and goal of the project have been to further strengthen the well established collaboration that exist between Scania and the group for vehicular systems at Linköping university and develop understanding for how a modular control system architecture should be to be able to handle increased complexity and subsystem limitations in an efficient manner. Both these goals are considered as well met with for example the project leader getting a part time position at the university and the 5 publications that have been produced in the project.

Expected long term effects

The assessment of the steering group is that the project has satisfied the expected results more than well and has remaining effects beyond the project in the form of the part time position of the project leader at the university.

Approach and implementation

The majority of the project work has been conducted as master´s theses and/or resulted in conference papers in line with good research practice.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
