Purpose and goal

InnoBrain is aiming to introduce an automated and unbiased way of evaluating the User Experience (UX) by employing neuroscience and artificial intelligence techniques. The main purpose of the project was to verify the technology through pilot tests with potential customers and evaluate the market conditions and scalability potentials. The data from pilot tests have resulted in customised protocols. The company has managed to establish important contacts with partners, technical advisers and customers, thus, shaping a distribution strategy as well as an updated business plan.

Expected results and effects

The company has succeeded to accomplish: - Validation of the solution through different pilot tests. Establishing protocols for industrial design and architecture segments. Extensive market research to find out the market opportunity and scalability. Establishing first customer relations and building new partnerships to further commercialise develop the product. Revising the business model to better reflect the customers’ needs and company profile. The team has been strengthened with experts in artificial intelligence and neuroscience as well as academic advisors.

Planned approach and implementation

The project was divided into three main activities; Pilot tests and product validation, technical development, and business model examination. Pilots were prioritised according to the profitability of the customer segments where the pilots were directly performed in cooperation with potential customers in related segments. Further technical developments have been pursued and the platform has been extended. Marketing activities and meetings were booked with potential partners and customers in order to explore the validity of the business model.
