Project duration November 2018 - December 2019
Status Completed
Venture The strategic innovation programme for the Internet of Things

Purpose and goal

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** One of the aim with the project was to support clients in making requirements and purchasing IoT-based welfare technology products. SKR is looking at using the validation tool as part of the procurement process in the ordering network´s "Guidance for procurement of welfare technology". Another aim was for suppliers to test their IoT-based welfare technology. products and services to validate their interoperability in an open platform with agreed reference architecture. The validation tool has been developed and tested with the SCAIP protocol.

Expected results and effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The external analysis shows that most suppliers in Sweden use the data models in the SCAIP protocol, but that they have not always chosen to use the SIP protocol (Session Initiation Protocol, is used, for example, for IP telephony) for signaling. Supplier Alleato sent over two of their gateways with accessories (including a motion sensor) that had to simulate a security product that sends alarms when a movement occurs within the motion sensor´s monitoring area. Validation tests were performed in the web tool which gave validation results.

Planned approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The first part of the project has focused on identifying existing standards in welfare technology. This has been done through supplier interviews and external monitoring as well as participation in various standardization groups and committees. The second part consisted in the development of validation tools and validation tests. In order to reach the goal of an agreement on a common reference architecture, the project should had begun with developing a validation tool to create an understanding and an incentive from the suppliers.
