What is the offer about?
Residency program (residency) which, through foresight, contributes to the host organization being better equipped to lead from the future.
With this the offer we want to contribute to residency programs being used for innovation using foresight methods. We also want it to lead to foresight skills being used in more contexts.
This effort welcomes project that have a long-term aim to develop innovations and be better equipped to lead from the future by bringing in a person with foresight skills in an existing activities.
The goal is to bring in cross-border skills and competencies to develop your activities, your products or the services you offer. The intention is that the person can transfer perspective, competence and skills that add a significant difference from existing activities.

We need to practice reconnaissance from the future
The stay should contribute to renewal and improved innovative capacity. It must contribute to significant renewal and in the long term have significance for the organization's innovative capacity. For the person participating in the residency program, the project must provide access to a relevant environment and offer opportunities to apply and develop their skills.
Proposal needs to show how the stay contributes to renewal and has significance for the organization's innovative capacity in the long term. There must be use and transfer of knowledge that is not currently available in the business. Applications from areas where residency programs are underutilized are particularly welcome.
How long should the stay be?
The call for proposals is aimed at stays that can be carried out for a relatively short period.
The personal stay may be 1–3 months long and the entire project duration may amount to 8 months, with time for planning and follow-up.
Which activities can you apply for funding for?
Residency programs are about personal mobility and welcoming an unfamiliar person in a new environment. Support therefore primarily covers person-related costs and the purchase of services (the person carrying out the residency). Since the purpose is a collaboration where the difference between existing operations and added competence is large, costs may arise for adaptations and other adjustments. Efforts that need to be made to be able to renew a business, a service or a product are other expected costs and are covered by the support. Documentation and communication of residency programs is an approved cost. Ordinary development and incremental improvement cannot be applied for.
