Purpose and goal
Mobile Entreprise Application Platforms (MEAPs) have become critical components for developing successful mobile business solutions. MEAPs provide one set of tools for managing all applications, security and devices, allowing the number of users and applications to grow without increasing the system management overhead. MEAPs also allow companies to build integrated mobile applications for better operational workflows across the enterprise. The X-MEAP project aims to develop a context-aware, cloud-based, cross-platform MEAP.
