Important results from the project
Through periodical measurements of wear data, the maintenance of rail and overhead line can be planned and optimized. This increases traffic reliability and decreases maintenance cost. The project aims to develop optimal methods for the analysis of collected wear data from the overhead line and rails in railway applications.
