Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The purpose and goal of the project has always been to try to improve the conditions to be able to use forest fiber-based materials to replace plastic materials, and how to increase the yield from forest to product that is very important and significant from a global perspective. Research in this project has great development potential and as a researcher in this project, we believe that we can contribute with great efforts for the promotion of research and development in the area and also promote Swedish companies with forest products.

Expected long term effects

The project has shown results that there is still an opportunity to develop new processes in the paper industry to be able to produce fiber-based products that can replace space. A great potential in the project is that high yield pulp is used in the process, which means that the yield from the wood is close to 90% so then contributes to a circular bioeconomy. The project has mapped the market potential and we have received many inquiries about our material despite traveling on fairs was not possilble due to the Corona epidemic. Negotiations with companies are in progress.
