Purpose and goal
Our idea aims to enable a virtual positioning system in a new way with accuracy at the millimeter level for indoor environments and limited outdoor environments. We believe we can also identify the material and form of an object.
Expected results and effects
A positioning system with a millimeter accuracy will most likely accelerate / facilitate Sweden´s digitization in various production processes and promote the industry sector that develops system-solutions in information and communication technology. Expected results for the project are to get our theories confirmed by extended function testing.
Planned approach and implementation
The project will be implemented in three phases and each phase will last for 4 months. During the first phase, researchers will systematically test signal pattern change for 3 objects and 3 shapes with respect to distance. During the second phase, 3 materials and 3 methods will be used to create special signals. The character of these signals shall be investigated in terms of distance, material and method. During the third phase, the three materials and shapes from the first phase and the three materials and Methods from the second phase are combined to assess the potential of our idea.
