Purpose and goal

The project ´Conformation of personal Generation´ was to develop product and service concepts for the visualization of different conditions in residential use and production of electricity. The objectives of the project have been met when the project both in theory and practice presented design proposals for various products, and also developed a workable technology for future commercialization. The project team´s skills base in innovation for sustainable IT design products and services has significantly increased as a direct result of the completed project.

Results and expected effects

The project has resulted in an increased understanding of the importance of attractive products for the design of personal electricity generation at the project team´s participating companies and organizations. Through the user-centered development process has attractive design proposals been created, these form a basis and starting point for future commercialization of Products. Competency levels have been improved at all project partners regarding the mechanisms of consumer adaption into becoming personal electricity producers.

Approach and implementation

The main project organization and implementation plan has worked. However, it is noted that the multifaceted project grouping had worked better through better resource allocation regarding project management, especially when the project team´s composition changed during the project implementation. On the whole, however, it is noted that the project´s objectives and implementation has achieved the desired effects at the involved parties.
