Important results from the project
The project aims at verifying a method that enables several DNA building block enzyme activities to be determined in real-time. Our solution has basic benefits such as providing a clinical same-day response. Clinical research on nucleoside analogues makes us to believe that the solution can become clinically useful by providing better prediction of drug resistance development. The technical solution is unique compared to existing methods which also have the drawback of only measuring one DNA building block enzyme.
