Important results from the project
The project aims to create stronger value proposition to the stakeholders of Venture Cup, and to ensure that the support offerend to the entrepreneurs is relevant and valuable. The hypotheses of our market researches are now validated, and the value proposition for the stakeholders has been developed through the launch of an updated competition and the new digital community. The results will be further developed, towards our long term goal of reaching a profitable and sustainable business model.
Expected long term effects
By carefully analyzing the needs of our users, the project has resulted in the launch of an updated competition, and an interactive digital community for early ideas and startups. The new competition complements the existing entrepreneurial support system better. and adds more opportunities for students and researcherd to test and develop their ideas to the market. These are key factors while striving to for a qualitative nordic platform, competition and hub for business ideas and startups.
Approach and implementation
The overall responsibility for the project has been managed by the national team of Venture Cup. In addition, three groups has been assigned to protect both the regional and national perspectives of the organization. The groups has focused on the areas of the competition, market and finance. Two internal conferences have been conducted, in which all employees participated and contributed. We have continuously tested the results with our stakeholders, to validate and verify our hypotheses.
