Purpose and goal

The main purposes of the project included to investigate the competitive landscape, identify suitable collaboration partners and determine relevant client needs and requirements within the market area of interest. Furthermore, the goals included to climate proof, optimize and document our core technology, as well as identify suitable processes and partners for volume production.

Expected results and effects

The activities focused on identifying collaboration partners resulted in one established partnership with two leading and global actors on the market which will greatly help us to reach the clients in an efficient way. Furthermore, the project resulted in two new patent applications aiming to protect our technology and secure our expansion on the market. The project has matured, optimized and climate-secured our technology as well as prepared the company for volume production. Finally, the project has results in one reference installation with a key customer in Scandinavia.

Planned approach and implementation

The innovation project was carried out in17 different work packages within four different areas: preparatory business development, intellectual property rights, technology development and documentation. Initially the emphasis was placed on preparatory business development and intellectual property rights, while later stages of the project was dominated by technology development and documentation. Activities were carried out by both internal resources and external consultants in patenting and environmental testing.
