Important results from the project

We have succeeded in achieving the goal of the project, to design a globally scalable business model for shareholder registers based on increasing blockchain traceability in transactions and reduces the risk of fraud and money laundering. Continued work is needed on validation of the business model, design and securing of customer segments and offers.

Expected long term effects

* The business model has been developed and redesigned several times based on conversations, meetings and discussions with relevant actors. * We have created good and useful contacts with relevant actors, including auditing companies, authorities and business people (eg habit of board work) * Pricing model and pricing are developed * Presented presentation of the business venture. It has designs to emphasize stability, seriousness and credibility. * Survey within the EU´s use of digital credentials and signatures has been carried out, eIDAS is an important infrastructure for this

Approach and implementation

Three work areas; * Validate the business model * Financing strategy * Legal issues regarding digital identity and signatures. The working model has held. We have put a lot of energy and effort into getting people to interview and did not spend as much time as planned on building a mockup with interfaces, this when we saw that customer understanding was more important at this stage. We also took the time to understand the Swedish authorities´ position and approach within this type of "infrastructure" compared to immersing ourselves in BankID´s terms (as they are one of several suppliers).
