Purpose and goal

The goal of the Triple Helix project is to make schools, industry and academia, with strong regional base, work together to formulate a joint concrete and achievable national agenda that drives the intellectual and operational change of the future school, based on the opportunities that comes with digitization, and providing the required new knowledge and competencies. Through the Triple Helix model the project has shown possibilities and worked to create a common vision and role models for the continuing development of the Swedish school system.

Expected results and effects

Trippel Helix has successfully gathered representatives from school, industry and academia to together work for the positive digitalization of the Swedish school. In a survey to all participants at the end of the project 47,5% answered that Trippel Helix significantly or very significantly has contributed to the digitalization of school. We have also received many positive comments about new collaborations and insights that the project has generated. The National Agency for Education has also vouched that we have significantly contributed to their work. The project makes us proud.

Planned approach and implementation

The project has worked well. It has be run by a group of 4 with the support of the Swedsoft staff, which increased the effectiveness of the project. The group has with Skolverket and regional partners planned and executed the activities. Six workshops with 100+ attendees from school, industry and academia has been very successful and appreciated. To allow for all to contribute we have collected material before and during the workshops which are summarized and analyzed in 3 reports. We also recorded and made public all talks at the scientific conference we organized at the end of the project.
