Purpose and goal
Purpose: To increase the interaction between UK and Sweden within ATMP, and particularly within cell therapy. Goal: To get an opportunity to present how far we have gotten with clinical-grade cells for future therapies. To learn from UK/Catapult that have solved many of the parts that are lacking in Sweden with getting a new ATMP to patient, such as scale-up possibilities, logistics, and clinical knowledge centers that can receive, administer and follow up the patients.
Expected results and effects
Plenty of opportunities to interact with the meeting participants, that have experience from all parts of the chain, from research, production, logistics, clinic, education, finance and government. A very interactive meeting with productive dialogues that need to continue in the future.
Planned approach and implementation
Interactive meeting with many presentations, possibilities to mingle and to visit the lab. The meeting was very informative and interactive and en excellent start for future collaborations.
