Purpose and goal

The School is the result of a close collaboration between Karolinska Institutet, Harvard Univ., Dana Farber Cancer Inst., Bocconi Univ. and Univ. of Milano-Bicocca. The School offers courses in both basic and advanced methods in Biostatistics, as well as courses in the design and interpretation of epidemiological and clinical studies. The courses follow a well established format, based on both formal lectures and lab sessions. Est. in 2002, continuously evaluated with a detailed and well structured questionnaire. The overall score for the training have been 7-8 on a nine grade scale.
