Purpose and goal

The aim has been to support companies so that they can deliver more customer value, more efficiently and with better conditions for their own employees. Produktionslyftet 2.8 (PL2.8) has accounted for a bridging period where the focus primarily has been on the project development for a third period (PL3) of Produktionslyftet, and secondly to maintain the program activities started. PL2.8 has developed and tested methods for a broader range of companies as well as for more specialized content with the goal to develop methods that can be spread widely in PL3 from 2015 onwards.

Expected results and effects

Regional development: creating regional structures for searching and managing projects financed by ERUF Wider range of companies: developed and tested methods for smaller and larger companies as well as for more types of industry Specialized content: developed and tested methods in various specialization areas Motivation and drive: received participants to the planned course starts and qualified applicants to coaching and education, has strengthened the interest in PLs purposes Research and education: coordination between the partners within PL

Planned approach and implementation

To best take advantage of the experience and built up structures, overall responsibility for coordination and coordination responsibility for Coaching continued to be at Swerea IVF and coordination responsibility for Education and Motivation at Chalmers. Regional responsibility has remained at the seven universities LTU, MIUN, HIG, MDH, KTH, JTH and Chalmers as well as IUC Syd. Collaboration in each region has been strengthened by regional steering groups, with universities, research institutes, IUC and other regional actors as well as employers´ federations and trade unions.
