Important results from the project
During the period, PP 2.0 carried out a strategy work. The work has resulted in a strategy for the initiative and the Paper Province association. We have moved closer to Dalarna and its key innovation players. The initiative is thus well under way to build up a larger critical mass through collaboration in Norra Mellansverige. During the period we have also broadened towards a new strategic focus area: industrial wood construction. Internationally, PP 2.0 participated in a number of events and started a strategic partnership with a bioeconomic innovation environment in Canada.
Expected long term effects
Collaboration with Dalarna has been further developed, which is expected to result in a more integrated bioeconomy innovation system in NMS. PP 2.0 has built capacity through larger EU-funded project which is expected result in strategic regional cooperation for industrial transformation and strengthened international partnerships. PP 2.0 collaborates in NMS to promote, in transformation regions, sustainable growth. PP 2.0 has made targeted efforts towards civil society to contribute to the social transition to bioeconomy as well as efforts focusing on norms and gender.
Approach and implementation
PP 2.0 has worked strategically to achieve results within the respective impact goals. The strategy that has been taken forward with regional actors based on the continued development of priority areas, with room for development and also new opportunities and orientations (such as industrial wood construction). PP 2.0 has focused on capacity and critical mass through areas of strength and collaborations (both in a larger region and internationally) to contribute to the realization of the forest-based bioeconomy, to take the next step and for further development after Winn growth.
