The nursing home the Flaggship - property as a hub for resource optimization and better health

Purpose and goal

The purpose of the project is to delve deeper into the conditions for collecting data and how data can be made available in a structured way between different actors and create value. Objective of the project is to establish a guide by researching, mapping and analyzing how to build future housing for the elderly by having the property as a hub for data collection and data exchange.

Expected results and effects

The project has produced a Guide that contains requirements and design instructions for infrastructure and management in housing for the elderly. The guide can be used to set requirements and design future homes for the elderly. The project has created a digital twin of the Hemstranden nursing home. In this virtual building, data can be analyzed, events simulated and form the basis for the development of new services. The combined effect of the project can increase the conditions for a more cost-effective business, a good work environment and increased quality of life for the residents.

Planned approach and implementation

The project has been carried out in collaboration between the parties Haparanda and Hudiksvalls municipality, Riksbyggen and RISE. The work has consisted of workshops, mapping, interviews and analyses, as well as dialogue with relevant actors. The result has been compiled in the form of a guide that will be used to support the setting of requirements and construction of future nursing homes.
