Purpose and goal

The aim has been, on a national basis, through the IUC Network (based on regional IUC companies) to identify and distribute Innovation checks to innovative industrial and industrial related SMEs. During 2014 the IUC Network has distributed 200 Innovationchecks to the equal amount of SMEs.

Results and expected effects

Out of the signed 200 agreements of distribution of Innovationschecks all accept one has been fullfilled during 2014/15. The results based on the final evaluation (interviews with each of the committed SME representatives) shows a substatial degree of satisfaction among them refering to the simplicity and smoothness of the Innovationscheck model. The innovationscheck has substantiall contributed to a development process in the SMEs of products/services that has,or are close to, reach the market ( 54 % answers).

Approach and implementation

The methodology is set by the IUC Network 8-step model, which is one of the tools beeing ISO 9001:2008 certified and used in the Network.
