Purpose and goal
The aim of the project is to describe the effects of a traveller information service för the intended users and for those that provide the information, i.e. describe the fuction the service has, fro whom and if it has had an impact on the quality of life for the intended users.
Results and expected effects
The work will result in a PhD-thesis based on several research papers on the effects of the traveller informationsystem for the intended users.
Approach and implementation
The project is based on four studies: Study 1 - The user need of traveller information Study 2 - Did the users get what they wanted? Stduy 3 - Did the information providers get what they wanted? Study 4 - What is the relation between what the users asked for and what they got and what effects does this have on their travel?
