Purpose and goal
A foundation has been developed for the establishment of test bed for connected health, ie digital tools for monitoring individuals´ health, that can be used for care or prevention. Purpose has been refined during the project period to be sustainable in the long term and rooted in stakeholders´ needs, regional development strategies, Agenda 2030 and contributes to increased equality. This has been anchored in participating organizations at the political level, official level as well as at the operational level in addition to identified stakeholders.
Expected results and effects
A report containing background information, needs analysis, external analysis, screening of potential stakeholders regionally, nationally and internationally has been conducted to assess the appropriate role in the innovation value chain and how the test bed can interact with nearby innovation initiatives. Following analyzes, participating organizations have seen the need for a test bed for connected health both within the organizations and externally. Project plan for establishing the test bed has been prepared in collaboratively.
Planned approach and implementation
An analysis based on external analysis and interviews has formed the basis for a selection of party interviews and workshops. The external analysis is based on regional, national and international activities, organizations and resources as well as regulatory factors. The work on interviews has been iteratively and gradually. The results of interviews, workshops, various documents and information from the respective organization´s websites have been analyzed and compiled in report form.
