Purpose and goal
This project is a pre-study aimed at creating a decision support for a forthcoming strategic initiative on systems-of-systems for smart urban mobility. The concrete goals that were met were to develop a program description for the initiative, including impact targets, budget, etc. In addition, the core activities of the initiative have been planned, and a first call for projects has been prepared.
Expected results and effects
The main result is that, based on the project results, the FFI board has decided to start the proposed initiative, with a budget of 100 MSEK from government and industry, to be carried out in 2018-21.
Planned approach and implementation
The project carried out four data collection activities, namely smart city initiatives; system-of-system research and knowledge; related research initiatives; and stakeholders in society. Based on these data sources, a synthesis was made indicating areas that should be covered by a strategic initiative in the area.
