Purpose and goal

The goal of the project was to turn the company´s business model from selling recruitment competitions on a labor intensive consulting basis, to a more scalable SaaS model. The objectives for the product development is achieved: we have developed one of the world´s most advanced recruiting tools and succeeded with the conversion of the organization to match the new business model. The structures created for further expansion of Sqore in 2014 has been crucial to our growth and we are now strongly positioned to grow significantly in the coming year.

Results and expected effects

The result of nearly two years of development, Sqore, is a SaaS platform where companies and organizations can optimize its recruitment process with advanced ranking technology. We have created 1) a score- and ranking tool for recording and comparing knowledge data across national borders. 2) a digital portfolio that allows candidates to demonstrate their knowledge across borders. 3) A new business model based on the SaaS product, instead of the previous consulting model.

Approach and implementation

The development of Sqore has been extensive, by now, thousands and thousands of hours has been spent on the product. When we launch it feels like it is a solid product with a really sharp features that comes out, where we have had a close dialogue with our partners in development. To change the business model has been the hardest part of the project. It has affected all parts of the company and changed the way we measure and evaluate our business, and forced us to change reporting, financial model and support systems to deliver our services.
