Purpose and goal

Primary objective; To strengthen the conditions for inventors and people with ideas to define, develop and introduce ideas and inventions on a market. Increase understanding of inventions. During the year and in this project, Swedish Inventors Association moved closer to lift inventions and inventors, and we hear time and time again from our Prime Minister and Chairman of the Innovation Council, Stefan Löven, talk about the importance of inventions.

Results and expected effects

The result has been that the Swedish Inventors´ Association have established more and closer partnerships with organizations active in the innovation support system, allowing our members and inventors to easier find their ways regarding support and to faster move forward in their quest to realizing their inventions, not only through entrepreneurship but also through licensing and sale of patents.

Approach and implementation

Swedish Inventors Association has worked strategically with establishing cooperation with both organizations active in the innovation support system but also highlight inventor issue for politicians. Some of the work is to find profitable collaborations with organizations, that has ben done by the Swedish Inventors Association. In Parliament there is currently a forum run by the Swedish Inventors´ Association called FUI, Forum för Uppfinningar och Innovationer, where urgent issues and sometimes the solutions are debated also with the Swedish Inventors Association partners.
