SWEDEN@CES 2016

Purpose and goal

The goal of the project is fulfilled. We have been accomplishing all the tasks setup and the results are above the outlined project plan. The companies have scored highest value on the matchmaking and preparation work that was our key activities. The freemium setup where companies had access to meeting rooms at no charge was used by some companies and is a huge value savings. Preparation, access to meeting rooms and visibility on site with media and invited guests was a huge success.

Expected results and effects

Deltagande företag har fått exponering mot möjliga kunder och partners, investerare, tech scouter, telcos och media. Bolag är I diskussion med aktörer om distributionsavtal och affärer. Företag som nyttjat våra resurser I form av tillgång till presskontakter och mötesrum har sparat stora belopp. Sammantaget är det en stor kostnadsbesparing för svenska bolag att vara en del av vår gemensamma setup och det finns en stor fördel av att agera i grupp där vi blir intressanta som helhet.

Planned approach and implementation

The setup was ´light´ and open to all Swedish companies with the aim to lower the cost and make CES easier and more valuable. The execution was over expectations where we got more attention from press than we could have anticipated. We managed to get distributors involved in the activity, which is very important to many companies. Through CTA (the organizer of CES) we had a platform for support for Swedish startups that is unique and really contributes to lower cost for internationalization.
