Important results from the project

The aim of the large project is to increase the use of the present soil at the construction of new urban buildings and other urban surfaces. The idea of the project has been further developed during the initiation phase and a consortia has been built that will continue to run this project. The project plan has been fine-tuned and focused. A number of other project partners have been engaged in the project, contacted and identified. The knowledge base in the different competence areas represented in the project has been shared among the project partners.

Expected long term effects

An application for a ´samverkans´ project will be submitted in the Vinnova call ending in August 2015 by an extended project group compared to the initial. Two applications have been submitted to FOMRAS with the aim of supporting the project with more basic research and as co-financing. A handbook, Jordkokboken, has been initiated and will be further developed in the phase 2 project.

Approach and implementation

6 meetings have been held during the project. The first was focused on letting the different partners getting to know the participating persons and the organizations they represent. The next meetings have been divided into two parts; one general part and one part were different subjects have been discussed in groups. The final meeting focused on the organization of the project. The inclusion of additional project partners has been discussed during the entire process. The result has been a project well founded among the participating partners.
