Coordinator BOARDEASER AB
Funding from Vinnova SEK 500 000
Project duration May 2016 - November 2016
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The purpose of this project was partly to get an understanding of the challenges board members in small- and medium sized businesses face, and whether our suggested solutions would match these needs. We have contucted around 50 interviews and gotten both new insights and feedback on our prototypes. The interviews have constisted of both open answer questions around the respondents experiences whithin board work, and follow-up questions to our prototypes.

Expected results and effects

We have received valuable knowledge and feedback from our interviews. This will help us design products of high value to our customers and with significant demand. It will help us to prioritize the development of new areas and solutions since we have a clearer image of the needs of our target audience. Through the development of Boardeaser we will be able to provide support to board members by giving them the necessary general view that is required and by that a support of their role.

Planned approach and implementation

A large part of the project consisted of developing prototypes which made it possible for us to demonstrate these live to the respondents. This has been valuable to get them to understand the potential in a clear way and also to discuss think how this would help and support them in their board work. In combination with them sharing many experiences have given us a clearer and wider picture of the challenges that working on a board of directors consists of.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
