Purpose and goal
The Solar Energy Platform Sweden is an Advocacy platform for Swedish research, development en enterprise in solar energy, with the purpose to influence the EU program Horizon 2020 (H2020). With support from VINNOVA from 2013 to 2018, we have successfully influenced H2020 via different channels.
Expected results and effects
Our advocacy work has contributed to get through call text that suit Swedish interests in WP-16-17 and WP18-20. We have been very succesful in our applications to H2020 calls and been granted several projects as partners and coordinators.
Planned approach and implementation
We have been able to influence H2020 calls in several ways: 1) Through active participation in European Energy Research Alliance´s (EERA´s) Joint Programs; 2) Through direct contact with project officers in the EU-projects where we are partners; 3) Through participation in other Eu-networks and activities; 4) Through direct contact with Swedish authorities working with H2020 programs.
