Purpose and goal
The purpose of the work has been to finalize the agenda for ´Smartare Elektroniksystem för Sverige´ due to submit an application for a strategic innovation area. Both the purpose and the goal have been met.
Results and expected effects
The work has resulted in an agenda that has been firmly established among different actors within Swedish electronics industry. The expected impact is that the area should achieve a status of a strategic innovation area.
Approach and implementation
The work has been done through a coordination of 7 independent agendas and has been implemented through a comprehensive survey of the Swedish electronics industry. Through this approach, a forum has been created for various parts of the Swedish electronics industry for the discussion of common issues with a focus on research, development and innovation. At the same time, the work has demonstrated the importance of the electronics industry for growth in Swedish industry and society.
