Purpose and goal
The SKAPA Foundation was initiated in 1986 to support Swedish Inventors. The SKAPA National Award is presented every year and consists of a diploma and this year, SEK 500.000. A national jury selects a winning invention among the contributors from Sweden´s 21 counties. The SKAPA Foundation was founded by Stockholm International Fairs, Föreningssparbanken, Svenska Uppfinnareföreningen Swedish Inventors´ Ass. and Teknikföretagen.
