Purpose and goal

SIGYN II will in cooperation with the academy, research institutes and partners study the following areas with respect to the connected car: * Computer security for the system as well as the communication link. * System safety for the basic concept * Monitoring of status and management of test vehicles (i.e. remote diagnostics, SWDL and measurements in combination with traffic flow monitoring and logistics) * Volume test of data collection from vehicles including analysis methods and distribution of data to external partners (Vägverket, academy, OEM etc) * Robust communication V2I and communication channels between vehicle and VCC server and service provider * IT platform and portal for intranet/extranet and migration of current systems * Vehicle platform including Master ECU, HW as well as SW * Impact on repair shops and After sales

Results and expected effects

The project will present solutions to the problem statements under the heading Aims and objectives, and results from performed prototype verification.

Approach and implementation

Five sub projects (Admin & Academy, TACTA, CIRA, SOTA, and SADD) are defined. Within the scope of these the project is implemented. Each sub project leader reports to a collaboration forum for coordination of the different sub projects. Academic partners (SP, Chalmers, Viktoria Institute) participate in the project.
