Seminar series on new technologies, innovation and entrepreneurship

Purpose and goal

The purpose of the project is to increase the understanding about different key technologies such as artificial intelligence, additive manufacturing and block chain, and what each technology means for opportunities and challenges for both new and existing companies. Thus highlighting, visualizing and discussing the opportunities and challenges that these technologies have for industry and business, as well as for society at large.

Expected results and effects

To organise six to seven seminars with a focus on one technology in each seminar. To have at least 100 participants for each seminar. To produce a brief overview of the technology before each seminar, and to webcast all seminars. To organize a larger half-day conference with at least 200 participants. That the conference is filmed.

Planned approach and implementation

The project includes organizing six to seven seminars and a final conference. Each seminar focuses on one technology. In preparing for each seminar an short written explanation of the technology will be produced. To the final conference, a summary report from the previously organized seminars will be produced.
