Purpose and goal

A pipe distribution network for e.g. water and heat transport is an important part of the infrastructure in an urban area. The objective is that it will be possible to save money, energy and valuable nature resources. The need for systems like these with the ability to maintain and develop this infrastructure has a world wide market. The core of the project is based on three different research areas: Radar based leakage search in water pipes, IRbased heat leakage search and distributed quality control of water.
