Purpose and goal

HSS2015 a dynamic meeting place where the industry, decision-makers, the public, and academia gather to make an impact . We offered a springboard to a renewed and strengthened knowledge contract between academia and society through inspiration, creative discussions and examples of best practice. 420 participants gathered during the conference days, a forum filled with collaboration, networking and decision making with focus on four challenges for future. The aim was to create interactivity which resulted in 27 interactive workshops within different thematic areas.

Results and expected effects

HSS2015 resulted in creating dynamic meeting place where 420 people from the industry, decision-makers, the public, and academia gathered to make an impact by sharing experiences, knowledge and experiences. We offered a springboard to a renewed and strengthened knowledge contract between academia and society through inspiration, creative discussions, and examples of best practice with focus on four challenges for future. The aim was to create interactivity which resulted in 27 interactive workshops within different thematic areas.

Approach and implementation

HSS2015 brought with inspiration and interactivity through challenge driven presentations and panels, interactive seminars and networking, of which several of these activities were presented in English. Multifaceted constellations and interactions fomented the possibility of ideas and decisions easier can be implemented in the organizations that were present during the conference. Presentations by knowledge intense organizations such as IBM, the Swedish government, Vinnova, Tillväxtverket contributed with information.
