Purpose and goal
The aim of mapping project internal and external expertise in polishing of clear coat has been met. There has been a state-of-the-art and literature survey that summarizes the knowledge and experience from the project partners, invited external actors and material published in the field.
Results and expected effects
The pilot study has provided a greater consensus on polishing within the project team. The participants´ knowledge in the area has increased through the exchange of internal knowledge and the state-of-the-art analysis.
Approach and implementation
All projects partners have given their view of polishing, what problems they have had, how the problems have been resolved and what challenges they see ahead. This has been discussed and the knowledge summarized. In addition to the compilation of internal knowledge an extensive literature search of the area was performed. A workshop/seminar was hold to which relevant external actors where invited.
