Purpose and goal
This project is a continuation of a 2018 pre-study on regional education initiatives that demonstrated the need to increase understanding and awareness of how intellectual property, standardization, and accreditation supports innovation. The aim is to carry out a number of regional educations aimed at raising Swedish innovation actors´ knowledge of standardization, accreditation and conformity assessment, as well as intellectual property rights.
Expected results and effects
The direct result of completed education is a significantly higher level of knowledge regarding the areas of standards, intellectual property and accreditation, especially among Sweden´s current and future innovation actors. In the long term, the desired effect is that this contributes to the competitiveness and vitality of Swedish business.
Planned approach and implementation
The goal is to conduct a of educational pilot during the period december 2018 - March 2019, which then pave the way for about 10 education efforts a year during 2020-2022.
