Planned approach and implementation

When the project received the Go a Head, people were summoned from each lab that would be responsible in the labs. The project´s initial phase included a comprehensive survey to identify the different focus areas of the project. This was done by study visits, external scanning of innovative solutions and products, contact with companies and researchers. Each lab started working with a number of companies whose products would be tested/developed. A common test protocol for all labs was developed. The lab coordinators were responsible for collecting and compiling all the test protocols.
