Funding from Vinnova SEK 500 000
Project duration November 2018 - August 2019
Status Completed
Venture Challenge-Driven Innovation – Stage 1 initiation

Purpose and goal

The project aimed to develop av plan for how to combine a number of well established tools/methods making it possible to assess if an in-service training has had the desired effect and if the participant has the required competence. As a result, the project will now focus specifically on how to develop a relevant digital tool to support and improve the process of teachers professional learning.

Expected results and effects

The project has ensured good access to relevant competence, testbeds, a digital platform and access to relevant data, making it possible to move on with further research, as well as development and tests of prototypes of a digital tool. Plans for the next steps are in progress and several preparations for the application for step 2 of the project are made.

Planned approach and implementation

A project team were initially formed, and through a combination of activities such as investigating former research regarding measuring of professional learning, screening the market for existing digital tools and learning-platforms and conducting a survey to better understand the needs of schools, the initial challenge was clarified. New partners were also introduced to the project preparing for phase 2, and an established company, providing an interesting digital tool for measuring change has connected to the project.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
