Important results from the project

The purpose of the project was to build a prototype of a parent support for young people with eating disorders and to test this against the target group and to collect data and knowledge about eating disorders in order to be able to further develop the project against both relatives and existing health care. The project has achieved the stated goals when we have: - completed the prototype - tested this against the intended target group - developed and evaluated possible future business models to develop support also for existing healthcare

Expected long term effects

The quantifiable results are as follows (expected results in brackets): Number of people who downloaded the app during the project - 1200 (1000) Number of people who actively follow Progress Me via social media - 1200 (1000) Number of active people in the forum - 500 (300) Questions we highlighted during the project and results: 1. How do we make data valuable for parents - by converting to concrete exercises. 2. What do the parents want - generally, you do not know this all wants to know more. 3. How do we create interaction between tools, education and the app - through future integration

Approach and implementation

Our way of working is inspired by the ways smaller companies use to quickly evaluate products and services, eg from Lean Start Up (Erik Ries). During the project, we have also worked in so-called sprints, ie developed for 2 week periods, tested and changed, developed again etc. We have found that this way of working has been very successful and intends to work in a similar way to further develop the project to include the traditional health care. We have also had regular sessions with the target group to ensure that the content is good.
