Purpose and goal

The aim of developing procurement skills and gain a deeper understanding of innovative processes and thereby stimulate R & D, is largely satisfied by the implementation of DEVELOPMENT was carried out according to plan with a positive result. The aim of contributing to the development of market-based solutions so that the the recycling ratio can increase, has largely been reached when seven contestants have developed ideas which all are judged to have the potential to reach the market and meet parts of the challenge.

Results and expected effects

An expected effect has been an active participation in the development of new / additional solution to increase the recycling rate of materials currently turned in to recycling centers, stimulate the industry and develop the role as client. In addition to the contestants, subcontractors, members of SAMSA, researchers and other stakeholders have been involved in the development phase. This has contributed to the project already in this phase have achieved results and the expected effect.

Approach and implementation

The project is expected to be implemented in four phases. 1) Feasibility study - deeper problems and needs formulation 2) Call and investigation of solutions 3) Pilot tests 4) Basis for commercial contracts There has been a slight delay of PHASE 2, because some moments took longer than expected. The delay has meant a two-month delay in the completion phase.
