Purpose and goal
The aim of POPFAS-Phasing out PFAS is to contribute with new PFAS free products to decreased environmental impact, secure pure drinking water and competitive Swedish industry by transdisciplinary collaborations.

Potential challenges and solutions are identified A gap-analysis of the most promising technical solution is made Relevant actors have joined the consortium and a detailed plan for the second stage of the project is established A draft of an agreement to regulate IPR is written Transdisciplinary collaboration will be established between scientists, researchers, product developer, consumers, organizations and public authorities. A communication strategy is identified
Planned approach and implementation
Two workshops (kick-off and final) were performed with all partners in order to gain consensus and approval of project goals and activities for the stage 2 project. Individual partner interviews were held. Literature studies and a pre-study performed to identify and analyse solutions.
